We can support both full and part-time hours, including ‘earlies’, ‘lates’, long days, waking nights and sleeping nights depending on the requirements of our clients.

The shifts available would be in a variety of settings including residential homes, supported living homes, nursing homes, education settings, private hospitals, and complex care settings. Typically, all shifts offered will be aimed to be local to you.

Ideally a minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Care sector would be preferable, we do also support those wishing to learn new skills and match them to suitable clients who provide training opportunities.

Support Worker (Adult)

Support Workers will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to help vulnerable individuals to flourish and achieve their full potential. Using a range of person-centred planning tools, you will take a hands-on approach to helping adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilled and independent lives. You will be supporting with everyday tasks, undertaking various levels of personal care, and helping support social activities and positive integration into the local community through hobby clubs, activities, and day trips.

Working with the skills, talents, likes and needs of each person we support, you will provide a range of meaningful and purposeful opportunities which help everyone maintain and develop new skills, try new things, and make a positive contribution to their community.

Support Worker (Child)

Do you love working with children and young people and want to help make a significant difference to their lives?

Children’s support workers will work alongside children and adolescents who have experienced neglect, trauma, and abuse, helping them to develop nurturing relationships in safe and stable environments. You will be providing therapy-based support to children exposed to multiple ACEs (adverse childhood experiences), creating positive routines, and helping to equip them with the skills needed to lead successful and independent lives. You will need to possess an emotional resilience to behavioural challenges.

It requires a child centred approach and ability to build warm, positive and strong relationships with the children. You will be a positive role model supporting children’s goals and development.

Mental Health Support

Mental Health Support Workers work with adults and children with a variety of mental health needs including schizophrenia, depression, self-harm, and associated comorbidities. Working alongside psychiatrists, counsellors, and mental health nurses you will be delivering recovery focused, person-centered support to enable vulnerable individuals to live as independently as possible within the community. Such interventions include observations and patient engagement, and management of crisis and risk-taking behaviours.

You must have the ability to work both by yourself and as part of a team. Common sense and flexibility are imperative along with a good sense of humour! Helping to rehabilitate and improve the outcomes for people with mental health issues is incredibly rewarding work.

Care Assistant

Care assistants will work with individuals to support them in all aspects of daily self-care whilst also ensuring their independence, dignity, and comfort. You will be involved in personal and practical support, such as general household chores, meal preparation and feeding, washing, bathing and toileting, as well as the safe movement, repositioning and lifting of the person you are supporting. You will also provide emotional and social support, helping to coordinate activities within the home and the local community.

Maintaining a standard of cleanliness and standards of hygiene in accordance with their wishes so that personal dignity is retained.
